I was born in Canterbury, England

In early years I soon became fascinated by 78’s, which is still with me. The whole process of recording and its early history (as with photography) has magic and mystery.

Met the guitar in my teens, and we became firm friends. Taught myself; an on-going situation, which has resulted in a fascination for improvising (never to be repeated) and composition (always open to interpretation). 

Listen to all styles of music, but am drawn to mavericks and risk-takers. Many influences, many moods. Probably most inspired by a good vegetable stew and friendly people.
